How I Play the Demi-Fiend
Naoki comes in two flavors, in case you don't like one form, you can chose another:
Neutral End + Dante route:
Rather than go with Lucifer's wishes, Naoki chose to reset the world. However, he still has his powers and is trying to prepare for future threats, especially angels. His time with Dante has softened him up and made him feel a bit cocky. But he's also very empathetic towards others who deserve it or feels close. He does want to try and understand people, but will also throw down if he senses a threat. This is the more common way of how I play him.
True Demon Ending + Raidou route:
Previously, I kinda played this as Naoki but he's evil, given how it basically involves erasing a chance for his and some other worlds from being reborn. However, playing SMTV and seeing his interaction with the Nahobino, and certain fanworks, have led me to soften my approach to this route. As such, while he can be cold to people, he does value the strong. At the same time, he doesn't like his time being wasted. And can be friends with a Nahobino, respecting their wishes given his defeat. The spark of humanity from the battle did help make him reconsider if his heart truly is in darkness, or that he isn't doing enough.
